FIVE DANCES.
ONE PROGRAMME.
ZERO EXCUSES.

Social Dance for Beginners (SD4B) covers the five most social Latin and African dances in one structured programme. You don't need to choose — we take you through all of them so you can find what moves you. Each dance builds on the last.

01MerengueCaribbean
+

Weight change drives every dance. Learn it clean here, and everything else improves. Merengue gives you that foundation fast.

Step left, step right, stay on time. It's simple. It's rhythmic. It works immediately on the dance floor. This is your entry into Latin and African partner dancing.

You build timing, balance, and connection from the first song. Start here. Build everything from this.

Your Goal

Stay on beat for one full song without breaking timing.

02CumbiaColombian
+

Cumbia builds control through the back rock. Step back, replace, step forward, repeat. You learn timing with purpose — the rhythm sits in a clear pattern you can feel within minutes.

This is where movement becomes directional. You start to travel, guide, and respond with a partner. Cumbia teaches spacing, rhythm control, and awareness that carries into every other dance.

Your Goal

Stay grounded. Stay on time. Keep it clean.

03SalsaLatin
+

Salsa builds timing through the 8-count. You step forward and back, then repeat on the other side. You learn to break on the beat — On1 breaks on 1 and 5.

This is where partner work starts to click. You guide, respond, and stay connected while moving. Salsa develops timing, coordination, and clear lead-follow that transfers to every social dance.

Your Goal

Stay on time. Keep your steps small. Lead with clarity.

04KizombaAngolan
+

Kizomba builds connection through walking. Step, step, step, step, in time with the music. You stay grounded and move with control. Every step is clear, deliberate, and connected.

This is where you learn to lead with your body. Small signals. Close frame. No force. Kizomba develops balance, timing, and partner awareness. You feel the music and respond together.

Your Goal

Slow down. Stay present. Move as one.

05BachataDominican
+

Bachata builds timing through the box step. Step, step, step, tap — then repeat to the other side. You learn to stay on beat and finish each phrase clean. The tap marks the timing and keeps you grounded.

This is where rhythm becomes musical. You start to add hips, control, and expression. Bachata develops timing, coordination, and body control. It prepares you for smoother partner work and musicality.

Your Goal

Stay on beat. Finish the tap. Keep it clean.

THE KL SOCIAL SOCIETY
METHOD

KL Social Society (KLSS) teaches people how to learn dance fast and use it socially — not how to memorise patterns. Every class is built around what transfers across every dance floor.

01

Foundations & Timing

Train the core movements that show up in every style — weight change, rock step, travel, turns. If these are clean, everything else becomes easier.

02

The 6 Pillars System

Every class reinforces the same six areas. You don't skip pillars. You build them together.

03

Learn by Doing

Short explanations. Immediate practice. Constant partner rotation. You move early and often. You learn through repetition, not theory.

04

Controlled Progression

One clear focus per session. No overload. Skills stack week by week. You leave each class knowing exactly what improved.

05

Social First

Lead and follow — not choreography. Adapt to different partners. Stay on time with the music. If it doesn't work socially, it doesn't stay in the system.

06

Daily Micro Practice

7 minutes per day. Simple drills. Clear focus. Consistency beats intensity — this drives faster progress than long, irregular sessions.
